JJYFM-PK simultaneously acquires the time information from NHK-FM broadcasting and radio-controlled clocks. If FM cannot be received, the radio-controlled clock will be used; if the radio-controlled clock cannot be received, FM will be used, enhancing time accuracy with both receptions. When receiving from the radio-controlled clock, the reception level is displayed in four stages on the front panel, making the reception status clear at a glance.
